Christian Martinez

Founder/ CEO PBA

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Christian attended the Academy Baseball Anibal Rodriguez (ABAR) - a prestigious professional baseball training academy focused on developing young players into future professional players - at the age of twelve. Christian was later given the opportunity to sign as a free agent with the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, and Oakland A's but instead chose to compete at collegiate level in Arizona with full scholarship, where he became an All-American and then earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Warner University.

Christian later became an Assistant Coach for the Minnesota Twins Appalachian League, where Coach Jeff Reed inspired his love for hitting instruction, as well as working alongside legends like Hall of Famers Paul Molitor, Rod Carew, and other quality coaches in the Twins MiLB staff. During his time with the Twins, Christian was also a mentor for Latin American prospects teaching them proper English and the American culture, working with top prospects like Miguel Sano, Eddie Rosario, etc. helping them to improve their communication skills, make-up around the field, and their everyday game plan.

In 2010, Christian was chosen to attend the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau’s Scouting School in Phoenix, Arizona where he earned his Scouting Certificate and learned exactly what scouts look for in a player and how to help build those tools.


In 2013, Southwest Florida was in the need of a competitive youth travel baseball program. Christian and his partner at the time decide to create PROSTYLE  BASEBALL ACADEMY (PBA) with age groups that range between 8u and 18u. Since inception, PBA has partnered up with many organizations and brands such Under Armour ,  Victus Bats, Mizuno, Fort Myers Miracles, Elite Squad, high school programs etc. Due to focus on International Expansion, PBA is now represented by PBA Diamonds in USA, as well as Prostyle Academies in Latin America in Venezuela & Dominican Republic. Over 1,000 athletes have played for PBA, 88 players have moved on to play collegiate baseball and over 10 players promoted into the minor league system.

In 2014, Created and established PROSTYLE TOURNAMENTS, a new innovative way for kids compete, with unique awards for tournament champions such as maple bats, batting gloves, sunglasses, baseball cleats, and more in addition to traditional trophies. Prostyle Tournaments Partnered up with USSSA to continue growing in their mission to include a National ranking for all the teams in Florida and SWFL area. 

Christian has a proven track record of entrepreneurship, recruiting, training, & promoting quality athletes domestically & internationally, travel baseball teams, organizing tournaments and bringing all of that to you through the Prostyle brand of companies.

David Docampos
David had a passion for coaching ever since he was a player. As a 3 year varsity player at Cape Coral high school, unfortunately he dealt with some injuries early in his career and found it hard to get back on the field as a player. 
Despite his injuries He had couple offers to play college baseball up north but decided to pursuit his career as a coach.
He started coaching a very successful program Xtreme Baseball as an assistant his first year and finishing as the Head coach of the team the next two.
David began coaching high school baseball as assistant coach at Ida Baker High School and simultaneously doing private lessons.
Currently he has been a part of our PBA Diamonds as the head coach for two years. 
"Coaching and Mentoring young ball players is truly my passion and its been an amazing journey that will hopefully continue for many years ahead" coach David Said.
